• I can't imagine a green lifestyle without it now.
  I absolute love my Optimum 400, i use it daily. I make my almond, soy and hemp milks with it. I've even made my own Tofu! I juice everything from pineapples to kale with ease. Its so easy to clean, easy peasy to use, its small and compact and doesn't take up room in my small kitchen. The fibre is still a little wet as it comes out but that works perfect for me as i make a batch of muffins and bread with the left overs. But i think the absolute best part of purchasing the Optimum 400 is that my heavy meat eating boyfriend who calls anything green hippie food loves loves loves making a breakfast and afternoon snack juice instead of having a bad junk food that's GMO and sugar coated heavily processed food, i'm so happy!   Very impressed with everything, excellence customer service, great juicer, have had for 4 months now, it gets pride of place on bench top as it is used most days, the juice has very little pulp, able to do all fruits and vegetables and very easy to clean, before I had a juicer that I ended up not using often as too hard to clean. I'm so impressed with the company I have just ordered a blender.

• Very little pulp!
  Health reasons made me research the pros and cons of different juicers and I must say from personal experience a slow juicer is the best all round.I have owned another more expensive brand slow juicer for 3 years and have not been happy with the performance . After using the Optimun 400 daily for over a week, I have noticed it"s quieter, quicker and produces less pulp and froth.It is easy to assemble and wash up and the quality of the juice is great.The machine is robust and the build quality is first class.

  Only wish I had the blender and juicer when I first got married (45 years ago). What a great way to feel healthy and full of energy. Just can't believe how well I feel. I can even see a brightness in my eyes! That sounds corny, but it's true! I am taking them both in the caravan when we travel north! My daughter in law can share them with me, our little grandson will love the juices, he has been on fruit juices since he was 6 mths old. He has never had a soft drink or lollie....and he is the sweetest boy!

  I bought this juicer a few of weeks ago based on quite a few hours of online research and found that this was the one of best slow juicers on the market in terms of build quality and the juice that it produces. Since bringing it home i've been making the most delicious green juices for myself and family. My children loooove their daily green "superhero" juice (despite refusing to eat kale/spinach in their meals...) so i'm delighted that they are now receiving all that extra goodness in their diet and learning about how important all the fruits and veggies are. Besides the juices, I've used it for so much more! The most awesome banana ice-cream, berry sorbet, and peanut butter. Plus the almond milk that i've produced is far superior than any other i have tasted. Blended with dates, vanilla, cardamon and cinnamon, it's an out of this world chai milkshake.....  Also, i use this regularly whilst my baby naps and it's so quiet unlike many other centrifugal juicers out there. It's a breeze to put together and take apart to clean. I've been juicing instead of my usual 3pm coffee and found i've got loads more energy to see me through those crazy afternoons :)

• Quality juicer
  After using a cheap knockoff juicer of similar design, I was blown away by the quality of this juicer. It's motor is a quiet purr, it took half a water melon and half a cantaloupe like they were carrots with no sign of clogging, and produced a lot more juice than my previous similar build vertical single auger juicer (I usually get about 3 litres and it produced 4 litres). Also easier to assemble with a drop down instead of drop & twist to settle the bowl to the base. I appreciated being supplied with the 2 extra sieve cones as well, especially the blank, which allows for creating nut butters and humus.  I have watched this on youtube comparing different high end juicers, and this one is definitely up there with the best.

• First time slow juicer
  OK so ive had a 'high speed' juicer that i borrowed off the mother in law and fell in love with fresh juices. However, I wasnt keen that it didnt really juice leaves that well so i invested in a slow juicer. Here are my pros and cons from my first juicing (cabbage and apples.. don't ask about that combo thats all that was in the fridge): Pros: - quiet (think small humm) - dry pulp (minimal juice wastage) - didnt get clogged (but i did chop vegies) - self feeding (you dont push any food down, it does it itself) - mine came with a tap - you dont really need one of the collection baskets, the tap allows you to fill individual glasses minimising future washup  - so-so with speed, smaller you chop it up the better/faster it will churn through it. I cant compare against other small speed juicers - relatively true to its word, the small brush that comes with it is good enough to clean everything (no sharp parts) and most things are already clean - my black one was 'relatively' fingerproof proof (dirty hands were noticeable) and looks pretty small  - although it has a handle to move around i wouldn't recommend moving this around the kitchen too much, it is pretty heavy/sturdy  Cons: - noisy leafy vegies (cabbage) make it squeek regardless (not a design flaw) - i had to wash and chop veggies (but this is a given you dont want to overload any juicer) - you cant just chuck bulk food in and juice in an instant - a little hard to figure out how to put it together, like i got it.. but i struggled (dono if this is just me) I can only imagine how well fresh orange juice will be (and any other high water content food), i will have to give that a go.

  I had been thinking about purchasing a juicer for sometime now after hearing of the benefits of juicing from my daughter, and am I glad I did. I had been a smoothie devotee prior to receiving my Optimum juicer but that soon changed. I am still trying different combinations to find my favorites but so far every one has been fantastic. The taste is beyond words, and the fruit icecreams are to die for. I have an abundance of frozen bananas so it gets a good workout. I love everything about it and cant believe I hadn't done this sooner. I love that it is so easy and quiet to use, and a breeze to clean with just a quick rinse and it's done. The videos on the Froothie site have really been helpful too. Just today I was going through reviews for the Optimum 400 and noticed that Froothie had the new user manual and recipe book available for download. Straightaway I emailed them and within minutes I had a reply with the links to both. Now that is what I call service. Nothing is too much trouble for the Froothie team. From the time of purchase to now, they have been wonderful. I am now the envy of my daughter who has been wanting a juicer for a long time now. I kinda have her to thank for convincing me to try juicing, so maybe, just maybe I will be thinking about a second one to send to her for her next birthday. • One of my best purchases ever!
  I have only had my Optimum 400 juicer for a couple of days and can already see how much fun I will have with it. Juices are so quick and easy to make, no juice is wasted and clean up is a breeze. Puréed dates with it this morning for baking, I couldn't believe how smooth the consistency was. Shall be trying fruit "ice cream" next. Customer service was great, I received it within 3 days of ordering it!

  Love my Optimum 400 juicer. So versatile, just made pineapple ice cream, wow so creamy just like the real thing and so healthy. Have previously made banana and strawberry ice cream as well as my juices. I am yet to make some nut milk, but what a great machine. I bought a Yonana but haven't used it as my Optimum 400 does the same thing.

  Love the Optimum 400 juicer! Having used my daughter’s Hurom for over 3 years, I was keen on getting a similar juicer to continue juicing away after she has moved out of home.   YAY - My Optimum 400 Slow Juicer has arrived! I am very happy with the quality of juice it produces, just the right amount of 'slow' for high nutrient intake yet enough speed to keep me move'n & shak'n in the kitch'n! I love how it can juice soft fruits like Mango, which adds a nice touch of creaminess to my fruit juice. The taste it produces by far outweighs any other juicer I have previously used (juice addict for a few years now!). Am loving it's versatility, to not only make delicious fresh juices yet also yummy sorbet's & nut milk's - no nut milk bag required. How easy is that. Next up - Wheatgrass here I go!! • Best Juicer Yet!
  As a raw foodie, you can imagine that I blend and juice ALOT! The Optimum 400 Juicer is the best juicer I have used yet.  It is easy to put together - just line up the dots!  As a slow juicer it maintains as many nutrients and enzymes possible as there is NO heat, but it still juices quickly and efficiently! It is so so so quiet compared to a centrifugal juicer!  Once you are done, just pull it apart, use the cleaning brush included and rinse it with water - EASY as pie to clean! AND the best bit - the price.  I tried a Hurom 400 previously and this does a better job at half the price! LOVE IT!  Oh and I have made, nut butter, nut milk, berry sorbet, banana ice-cream, baby food, tofu AND juiced loads of green juices including such things as kale in my Optimum 400 - all where made with ease and turned out great!  Just follow the slow juicer instructions and you can juice whatever you like!  NB: Remember a slow juicer is different to a centrifugal you do need to prepare the fruits & vegetables before juicing but the health benefits, quality, yield and taste are through the roof in comparison! If you want a new juicer - this is the ONE!

  As I had been a very good girl Santa brought me this juicer! It has been getting a mighty workout ever since. My husband, toddlers and myself just love it. It juices easily, quickly and quietly! My 4 year old loves to help and has learnt so much about different vegies & nutrition in the process! Priceless!!   I received my Optimum 400 juicer and is absolutely pleased with it. The juice is really tasty and delicious. I juice at least 4 times a day since I received it. I juice the kiwis without removing the skin. I cut away the rind of the orange leaving the white outer skin then cut it into quarters eighths, depending on the size of the orange, without removing the pith. With apples, I remove only the stem and then cut it into quarters or eighths. Without using the tamper, I just pop one by one into the hoper and it continuously juice , and in seconds I get a delicious glass of juice. With vegetables I do cut it into smaller pieces as they are stringy and do sometimes clog. With celery I cut lengthwise and then dice it crosswise. I clean it only once a day in the evening. In between veg and fruit juices, I clean it by just flushing a glass or two of water down the hopper and it is ready for the next juicing. Unlike the strainer of a conventional juicer, cleaning the strainer of this slow juicer is alot easier. Assembly the parts are also easy. Made a glass of juice for a friend and she was really impressed.

  Impressed with this machine. Quiet operation. Easy to clean although you have to accept that such machines will have lots of parts so it fills the draining board! That's ok though - its worth it. Very surprised and pleased to discover it does other things too. Tried the banana icecream - so easy and quick. Would be great for a dinner party (not that I have them0. Just whack I frozen bananas and some cinnamon, give it a stir around and serve. Don't tell them its just bananas! They'll think you slaved over a complicated receipe!
